An easy way to picture spoken communication is to imagine a loop. One person (the speaker) sends some information (the message) to another person (the listener).
The listener interprets the message, and then tells the speaker what it means (feedback).
If both the speaker and listener do not agree on the meaning,m the speaker tries presenting the message in a different way. The loop continues until the speaker is satisfied that the listener understands the information correctly.
